The process of proper painting is crucial. If layers are applied when the paint is too dry it will not bond and flake. If the layers are applied when it is too wet, the paint will ripple. If the clear coating is too thick it will also flake or crack. Attention to details in the process and timing is crucial for an excellent paint job.
