Distance Ride Preparation 2/3:
If
you are travelling in a group the following suggestions
may be useful. The more bikes the more possible break
downs. Plan the distance of your daily rides, if you
do not get to the next town in time it may be hard
to find a place to rest and get food, it will also
allow for you to rest properly. Take a whole transmission
and rear drive, you can save riding time and do the
repairs at night. Do not stress the CJ750 sidecars,
check your oil everytime you make rest stops. Make
sure you lock your bike when leaving it unattended.
Avoid creating a scene or drawing a large crowd. Be
careful of large rocks in the road left by truck drivers
after repairing their trucks. Carry an emergency medical
kit. Stop every hour or so to rest and inspect your
CJ750. Make sure your CJ750 is in good condition,
it is very disrepectful to other riders that your
CJ750 keeps breaking down from poor maintenance.
